Arrival in Marrakech — Agafay

On arrival in Marrakech, guests will be welcomed outside the arrivals hall by their private driver and guide, who will be holding a sign with their names. Transfer to the Agafay camp in a private air-conditioned 4x4.

Later, a gentle camel ride across the arid landscape and its surroundings is followed by a traditional dinner prepared with local ingredients.

As night falls, a live Gnawa music performance offers an introduction to the deep rhythms of southern Morocco. Overnight in a luxury tent beneath the desert stars.

Meet the guide in the hotel lobby at 10:00 for a full-day walking tour of Marrakech. Wander through the medina souks, filled with colourful textiles, aromatic spices, and handmade crafts.

Explore historic monuments including the Koutoubia Mosque, the richly decorated Ben Youssef Madrasa, and Bahia Palace. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the spice square and quieter corners of the medina, stopping at leather, metal, and pottery workshops.

A visit to a communal bakery reveals a part of everyday local life. The day ends in Jemaa el-Fna square among storytellers, musicians, and scenes from Marrakech's living culture.

Meet the guide at 10:00 to discover modern Marrakech, beginning with Jardin Majorelle, the botanical garden and artistic space created by Jacques Majorelle and later restored by Yves Saint Laurent.

Visit the Yves Saint Laurent Museum and the Amazigh Museum, where Berber heritage is presented through art and history. Continue with a panoramic drive through the new city, known for its broad boulevards, Art Deco architecture, and lively atmosphere.
